Silence Should Not Be The Answer
Bending her head against the wind,
She quickens her pace,
Hurrying inside
To wipe all the tears from her face.
Silently, I walk by.
Pausing as I leave the café,
I glance at a mother,
At which I wonder
Her reason for starting to cry.
Silently, I look.
Trying to suppress her anger,
She cranks up the music,
Thinking 'bout her life,
And if it's really worth living.
Silently, I listen.
Should someone help?
Should someone speak up?
Should someone break this silence
Which will otherwise break all of us?
Silently, I wait.

“Are you going, or what?”
Her eyes snapped open. The Hawk smirked at her from the rafters of the gym. He was folded comfortably into a corner, observing her from his preferred vantage point.
Natasha rocked back off the balls of her feet and let her arms fall to her sides. “Maybe I’d have done it already, if yo

Anyhoo, summer's winding down and frosh is in two weeks. Am I really ready for socializing though? It takes me a lot of energy, especially when it's someone new bc you're not really familiar with them yet. But it could also be worth it - I mean, in high
